Celebrating every woman out there who got out of a bad situation/relationship/marriage/friendship. You’re safe now. If you were in a heterosexual relationship, you’ve left him and his demons behind. You are no longer his. You are yours now. Good for you!!
They think you’re crazy…after all, who would leave horse-sh*t camouflaging as a human being? “Surely you don’t want to be a divorcee or a single mom!” Oh no! The horror!! “Better to take physical, verbal, emotional and financial abuse than loose that fancy ‘Mrs’ title.”
They tried to scare you back to a place they could control you, but they have no idea the terrors you faced in there. And honey, you have nothing to prove to them. Get on out!! Go!! Let them keep their horse-sh*t. Hopefully it keeps them warm. It certainly didn’t do you any favors. Leave the trash where it belongs – with the trash.
Darling, we both know you’re better off on your own. Crazy or not. Young/old. Doesn’t matter. As long as you’re happy. We love to see it!!! Your life is your own again! No-one else has veto power. Especially not someone that clearly hates you and abuses you for sport.
You deserve kindness, softness and pleasure. You deserve good things and good people in your life. Despite your recent experience, good people do exist. Now you have the astuteness to separate the wheat from the chaff. And you will do so excellently!
I know you’ve doubted yourself many times, but you are beautiful, smart and strong and vibrant and deserving of a good life. You only have one life! It better be what you want! You weren’t born to be used to death! (Despite what our mothers and aunties claim is the standard for a ‘good wife’). And here you are! Look at you taking life back into your own hands! Despite the odds too! How did you celebrate?
